Eastern Sierra Fall Color One-Day Workshop

October 19, 2009 (Lee Vining/ Mono Lake)

Every October the aspens on the eastern side of the Sierras turn yellow, orange, and gold, putting on the most spectacular display of fall color in California. Instructor Michael Frye will lead you to some of his favorite aspen groves near Mono Lake, at the eastern edge of Yosemite National Park, and help you learn the essential skills needed to capture the beauty of these autumn scenes - including how to use your histogram for proper exposures, making simple, strong compositions, and how to find the right light for your subject.
